Whether you've been putting it off for years or are only just exploring, there's a pathway built around your situation.
You've been putting this off for years. Dr Wilson specialises in nervous patients and will walk you through every step at your pace — nothing happens without your full comfort and consent.

Whether from extraction, decay or an accident, a missing tooth affects more than your smile. An implant restores function, appearance and confidence — permanently.

Loose, uncomfortable dentures don't have to be your reality. Implants are fixed, stable and completely natural feeling. No adhesives, no slipping, no food restrictions.

Simpler cases, back teeth and patients prioritising practicality, function and value.
Visible smile areas and patients seeking a balance of refined aesthetics and value.
Complex cases, premium cosmetic expectations and a comprehensive implant experience.
Full implant assessment including 3D scans, treatment planning and personalised pathway recommendation.
A dedicated hygiene appointment to ensure your mouth is healthy and ready for long-term implant success.
Carefully placed using clinically guided planning. Most patients report far less discomfort than expected.
Once healing is complete, your final crown is fitted and adjusted for comfort, function and appearance.
Personalised guidance on caring for and maintaining your implant for the long term.
All ABC patients are enrolled into a structured 5 year care pathway covering monitoring, hygiene and maintenance — supporting your implant for the long haul.

Paul is the principal dentist and implantologist at Stoke Bishop Dental Centre, and the driving force behind the ABC Implants system. He qualified from the University of Birmingham and has pursued an exceptional level of post-graduate training in the UK and internationally — including at Loma Linda University in Los Angeles, one of the world's most respected dental implant training centres.
He holds a Master's Degree in Restorative and Cosmetic Clinical Dentistry and the Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh — a qualification held by very few dentists in the UK. He is a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and the British Society for Occlusal Studies.
His approach is patient-centred, unhurried and focused on long-term outcomes — which is exactly why he created ABC Implants: to make treatment clearer, more accessible and better supported for every patient.

"I've been coming to Stoke Bishop Dental Centre for years. I've had various treatments throughout the years but very recently had an implant and I can honestly say that Paul (dentist) and Emily (nurse) were fantastic. I had absolutely no pain after the procedure and it's all healing really well.
I have never enjoyed coming to the dentist, in fact I think you could say I'm naturally nervous - but Stoke Bishop Dental Centre and all the people that work there have been absolutely fabulous from the kind and courteous reception to the follow up after care."
"I have been a regular twice-yearly attender at Stoke Bishop Dental Centre for about 10 years. It started with a full mouth rehabilitation that included 6 implants and has more recently been generally confined to examination and hygiene visits, this latest being the last mentioned with Rachel. I am delighted with this and indeed all my treatment. Well done the team."
"I am so pleased that a friend recommended me to Paul's dental practice. Having had three implants in the last two years I am delighted with the results. The balance of my restored teeth makes eating so much better and I have every confidence in the treatment I have received. Paul is always very patient in explaining the details of the work involved, the options available and costs of each option. I have very confidence in him and his team. From my first meeting with Michelle and Paul to discuss my options, I have been impressed by the professional expertise and the way in which all the staff deal with their patients. Rachel provides excellent dental hygiene treatment and care. I can thoroughly recommend Paul and his team for the excellent services they provide."
"Paul and his team have over the last 9 months performed miracles on my mouth. Five implants and a bridge have transformed my smile. I suffer very badly with a phobia of going to the dentist but Paul ' walked ' me through each stage of the treatment. Thank you very much Paul."

During your visits, each ABC pathway will be explained clearly by the treatment coordinator. Your case will also be reviewed by Dr Paul Wilson, who will recommend the most suitable option based on your oral health, the position of the tooth and what you want to achieve. Where there is more than one suitable option, this will be explained so you can make an informed choice.
Dental implants are suitable for many patients, but a full assessment is needed first. We will review your bone, gums and overall oral health before confirming whether implants are right for you. If you are not ready for treatment straight away, we will explain any steps that could help prepare you, such as hygiene therapy or improving gum health.
Typically 3–6 months from consultation to final crown fitting, with most of that time being the natural healing period. Complex cases may take longer — your personalised timeline is discussed at consultation.
It's our structured aftercare programme, included free for the first 3 months. Ongoing membership is £30/month and includes 2 hygiene visits, 2 implant reviews, ongoing monitoring and preventative maintenance guidance per year.
The fee covers your full assessment, 3D scan and treatment planning regardless of whether you proceed. It reflects the clinical time and advanced imaging used during your appointment.
With proper care the implant itself can last a lifetime. The crown may need replacing after 10–15 years. The 5 year implant care pathway significantly supports long-term success.
Low bone density doesn't automatically rule you out. Bone grafting is often an option and will be assessed via 3D scan at your consultation.
